Since the compact model doesn’t need as much energy to get moving, it’s natural that it has less horsepower than the Mazda CX-90. Still, both show impressive capabilities with the Mazda CX-50 having a 3,500-lb. maximum towing capacity³ and the 2026 Mazda CX-90 sporting a 5,000-lb. maximum towing capacity⁴. Interior
